Student Food and Housing Insecurity Advisory Committee
Led by Mr. Jeff Jacobs, Dean of Students, the committee was charged with assisting the university in enhancing its programs and services related to addressing student food and housing insecurity.

国产偷拍视频The U.S. Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. A national study conducted by the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness indicates that almost half of college students report that they have experienced food insecurity.
Students who experience food insecurity often also suffer from housing insecurity, such as difficulty paying the rent, mortgage, or utility bills. In fact, 64 percent of food insecure students report experiencing some type of housing insecurity.
国产偷拍视频It is no wonder that problems with food or housing impact student’s education. The National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness study found that these students tend to have problems buying textbooks, have had to miss class, and have even dropped class.
